The Doctorate program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is a dual-degree Doctorate program offered by UITM Poland and SIMI Swiss. The program emphasizes research right from the beginning, providing students with the opportunity to engage in in-depth research in the fields of Logistics, transportation, and supply chain management, while maintaining a broad perspective on specialized knowledge within the rapidly evolving and dynamic sectors of transportation and logistics.
Upon graduation, doctoral candidates can work, conduct research, and teach in various domains, within businesses and universities that cater to sectors such as shipping, aviation, airports, road transportation, maritime transport, seaports, railways, and engage in work and teaching, research, research supervision in the field of supply chain management, traffic control, highway operations, toll operations, communication systems, and passenger services.
Upon completion, students receive two independent degrees:
- Doctor of Logistics from UITM Poland, and
- Doctor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management from SIMI Swiss.

Program Details
The Dual-Degree Ph.D. Program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management consists of two phases: (1) The Ph.D. thesis completion and (2) The international publication.
The program has a duration of 03 years and cannot exceed 05 years. Students engage in a combination of Live Class, supplemented by online tutoring and instructional guidance from instructors.
Subjects include:
- Course: Developing Research Capability (30 credits)
- Activity: Present Research Proposal in Colloquium
- Course: Advance Research Design and Methodologies (30 credits)
After each course, students will complete each phase of their Ph.D thesis:

- Activity: Working with Research Supervisor for Dissertation
- Activity: Present the research result in Colloquium
- Activity: Defend the Dissertation
The PH.D thesis in Logistics & Supply Chain Management will be closely linked to practical solutions for the industry and/or the development of applied knowledge within the fields of logistics, and supply chain management.
Posting of international articles phase:
- Present Research Proposal in the Colloquium (30 credits)
- Present Research Result in the Colloquium (30 credits)
- Proof of Research Paper published in ISI/SCOPUS Journal or Equivalent.
After graduation, students will receive 2 independent degrees:
- Doctor of Logistics from University of Information and Technology Poland, and
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Université Libérale de Paris.

Candidates applying for the program, in addition to meeting the entrance requirements, are also subject to an assessment of their suitability by the admissions team before participating in the program. This is to ensure that candidates can grasp and attain the benefits of the program upon participation.
The entrance requirements must fulfill one of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields from accredited universities. For local universities without international accreditation, the Vietnamese partners will undertake an evaluation process.
- Level 7 Diplomas based on the EQF framework or its equivalent. Level 7 Diplomas must be issued by authorized and recognized institutions.
English requirements:
- Minimum CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) language proficiency level B2 or equivalent.
- IELTS 5.5; Speaking and Writing components must each achieve a minimum of 5.5 or equivalent.
- In the absence of an English certificate, the scientific partner in Vietnam conducts an internal English test and reviews each candidate.
Note: LAS reserves the right to decide on admissions based on the requirements of accrediting bodies and the global acceptance criteria of the program.
- The program is designed for busy people according to the Hybrid model that combines Live Class and local tutors (online).
- The program initiates research right from the beginning.
- Doctoral candidates are provided with accompanying guidance from instructors throughout the research process.
- Support includes information about Colloquiums organized collaboratively by LAS, UITM, Paris-U, and partner institutions.
After completing the requirements, students can attend the graduation ceremony in Poland or in Europe depending on the university’s annual calendar.

- Students are enrolled as students of both UITM and Paris-U. London Academy of Sciences (LAS) serves as a program consultant and academic support unit.
- Students engage in the original program as full-time students, with compatible standards and assessments between the two programs for the purpose of dual degree grant.
- The program is taught 100% in English.
- The degree awarded by Paris-U falls under the category of degrees of private universities. Paris-U operates independently, not within the framework of France’s public higher education system, and does not adhere to regulations governing French-language programs for French students. The Paris-U degree is also not part of the French national degree system.
- Degrees conferred by UITM are classified as professional, non-academic doctorates. Students are not provided financial support by the government or the EU.
- This is not an affiliated program with any university in Vietnam. Students interact directly with instructors from UITM and Paris-U.
- LAS is a global academic consulting and support unit, including within Vietnam. LAS does not provide Ph.D’s-level training, nor does it interfere with academic and administrative decisions of the program.
- Local activities solely encompass academic support. Local activities are solely academic support. All support activities by the partner in Vietnam are supplementary and do not replace the international instructors from UITM and Paris-U. They do not affect the program’s integrity or its outcomes, and do not possess the authority to implement regulations belonging to UITM and Paris-U.
- Policies related to fee assistance and scholarships (if applicable) are subject to change or termination without prior notice.
- The University of Information Technology and Management (UITM), the Université Libérale de Paris (Paris-U), LAS, and their partners do not guarantee that enrolling in their programs will lead to graduation, obtaining a degree, or any specific outcomes. UITM and Paris-U will only confer degrees and recognize academic results if students fulfill all academic requirements, financial regulations, disciplinary rules, and other stipulations.
